GAP

Grassroot Activators Programme (GAP)

The Grassroot Activators Programmes (GAP) supports young people from 12-30 years old from underserved communities across the city to be the changes they want to see and be. Closing the gap on opportunities for everyday young people to create social change and realise future opportunities in education, employment or enterprise based on their interests and passions.

The Grassroot Activators Programme/s (GAP) was born out of 5 years of discussions and consultation with young and older people, communities, VCSE professionals, businesses and city leaders.

It is a programme that is inclusive and brings people together from underserved communities of Bristol with varying lived experiences, cultures and abilities. Participants develop much needed skills for life, make influential connections, create a rich tool kit of experiential learning and deliver social change. Resulting in achievable pathways for everyday young people to realise.

Youth GAP and Mini GAP have been designed for those unable to commit to a year long course.
