Thank you to everyone who helped make Bristol Birdman 2026 possible.

From the brilliantly imaginative flying contraptions and unforgettable entrances to the huge cheers from the crowd, this year’s Bristol Birdman was a fantastic celebration of creativity, community and doing something a little bit extraordinary for a great cause.

Whether you took part, volunteered, bought a raffle ticket, donated, sponsored the event, provided a prize or came along to support the teams, you played an important part in making the day happen.

Most importantly, every pound raised will help Grassroot Communities continue creating opportunities for children and young people across Bristol.

More Than Just a Flying Competition

Bristol Birdman is designed to bring people together, create unforgettable experiences and raise vital funds for Grassroot Communities.

The money raised through team fundraising, raffle tickets, merchandise sales and donations will support our work with children, young people and communities across Bristol.

Through youth work, creative opportunities, community projects and programmes such as GAP, Grassroot Communities helps young people build confidence, develop new skills, form positive relationships and recognise their own potential.
