What is The Bristol Birdman
Birdman events have been running for over 50 years across the globe.
This will be Bristol’s first Birdman event and it will take place on the harbour.
With it’s creative culture and extensive maritime and aviation histories, Bristol is the ideal city to embrace the ethos of Birdman.
Participants create home-made machines or costumes to fly the furthest they can before landing safely in the water.
Only recycled resources that can be reused to be used for the Birdman contraptions
Communities and businesses will come together, creating an event that everyone will remember.
All profit of the money raised will go directly towards the Grassroot Communities programme of work.
